Greenstone is situated on the ancient Cambrian ridge running through Heathcote in central Victoria. The unique deep red soil contains a copper infused rock known as 'greenstone'. This soil, and a mild, dry climate, is ideally suited to the Sangiovese grape, which is responsible for most of the best Tuscan wines. The quality of the vines shines through in the vibrancy of the fruits and silkiness of the tannins in this unusual wine.
